There is a stalk of hogweed growing near our house. If you ever see this (it looks like a 10 ft tall Queen Anne’s Lace plant) don’t touch it. Coming into contact with the sap and exposing the skin to UV can cause serious burns that last for months. Call the DEC or your local conservation department if you spot this plant.
